All New Network Marketers Begin At The Same Starting Line
Are you new to the network marketing industry? Are you searching for the “secrets” to building a successful six-figure home-based business? Before you answer these questions, take a moment to reflect on the following: Have others who came before you achieved what you’re aspiring to build for yourself?
Undoubtedly, the answer to this question is yes. Hundreds of thousands of people have embarked on the same journey as you, starting as beginners. While their paths may not have been identical, they have all reached the same destination.
Just yesterday, I made the decision to step out of my comfort zone and hit the streets to promote one of the new network marketing businesses I joined just a week ago. Loading up my cart with a table, products, a table sign, and my product sample kit, I sought out a nicely shaded area to set up. I chose a spot in front of a church on a bustling street in my neighborhood. There, I patiently waited for people to approach and inquire about what I was offering.
Thirty minutes passed before another street vendor began unloading her wagon nearby. Since I was positioned in a shaded area, I extended an invitation for her to set up next to me. She specialized in marketing sound healings.
Over the next five hours, I observed this street vendor providing free demos to complete strangers passing by. As I watched, she skillfully delivered concise presentations on the concept of sound healing. If the person wasn’t familiar with sound healing, she would initiate by drawing an analogy to acupuncture.
Upon completing her presentations, she would collect their contact information and record it on her cellphone. It was remarkable to witness this experienced small business owner engaging in lead generation right before my eyes.
Observe Network Marketers Business Systems
While this vendor wasn’t in network marketing, she did have a business. She also created systems within her business.
Here is what I observed while looking at all the possible parts of her business system:
- Location
- Display
- Product Inventory
- Digital Business Card
- Payment System
- Presentation
- Follow-up System
- Marketing Materials
- Samples
- Signage
- Demonstration Tools
Every network marketer is going to have different systems in place. Marketing systems are one of those systems. Take notice of different network marketers’ lead generation systems. Are they generating leads offline, online, paying for ads, buying business opportunity leads, or using Facebook Messenger to engage with prospects?
Pick one, and then master that system to the point that you can teach it to someone else. I chose to generate leads in the cold offline market.
